Race Sailing Tack Optimizer

Race Sailing app for sailing races / regattas.

This app is telling you about wind shifts and also if you are on the best tack towards the topmark.
A talking race timer is included as well.

Works a bit like the Race Master TackTick compass - but uses the GPS instead and also telling you the speed.

This way the app will take current and drift into consideration.

Downwind it will help you make the best VMG towards the bottom mark/gate.

The display colors change between Red and Green telling you if you are on a starboard or port tack.

Downwinds it shows you the angle from straight down and the VMG.

This app has been written as a result of a lot of regatta sailing on different boats and I hope you will like it.

UPDATE: We are sailing Folkboats every tuesday - and we are actually having great success using it!

NOTE: Can now show speed and track if desired by setting angle to "OFF"
